What we collect, and what we do not.

We measure how this site is used so we know which pages earn their place. That measurement is built and hosted by us, it stays first-party, and none of it is sold, shared, or handed to an advertising network.

What this site records

Every page load records the page you viewed, the site you came from, any campaign tag in the link, and how you interacted with the page: how far you scrolled, how long the page was actually visible, what you clicked, and whether you started or completed a form. It also records your browser, operating system, device type, screen and window size, language, and time zone.

What we can tell about your location and network

Our hosting provider tells us the approximate city, region, and country a request came from, and the name of the network operator it came through. For a visitor on a company network, that operator name is often the company. We use this to understand which kinds of organizations read the site. It identifies a network, not a person, and it is wrong or unhelpful often enough that we treat it as a signal, not a fact.

We do not store your IP address

Your IP address is never written to our database. It is combined with your browser identifier and a secret value that we replace every night, then hashed. The result cannot be reversed into an address, and the same visitor produces a different value tomorrow, so the record cannot be assembled into a long-term profile keyed on your connection.

Cookies

We set three first-party cookies: one to recognize a returning browser, one to group a single visit together, and one that remembers which link first brought you here so we can tell which campaigns work. They are set by our server, marked HttpOnly and Secure, and cannot be read by scripts. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party tags, no pixels, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, none of those cookies are set until you accept them, and declining removes any that already exist. Everywhere else they are set on arrival, and the opt-out below still applies.

How to opt out

This site honors Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends that signal, the measurement script stops before it collects anything at all. Firefox and Brave support it directly, and there are extensions for Chrome and Edge. Blocking cookies for this domain also works, as does any content blocker. Nothing on the site breaks if you do.

What we never collect

  • Anything you type into a form, other than the fact that you started or finished it. Field contents are only transmitted when you actually submit.
  • Keystrokes, mouse paths, clipboard contents, or session recordings.
  • Your precise location. We see roughly what a weather site sees.
  • Anything at all once you decline consent or send a Global Privacy Control signal.

When you contact us

The contact form sends your name, email, and message to our own mailbox so we can reply. It is used to answer your inquiry and nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not enroll you in an automated sequence, and we do not pass your details to anyone.

How long we keep it

Measurement records are kept for 24 months and then deleted. The daily secret used for hashing is discarded on rotation, so records older than a day cannot be re-linked even by us. Correspondence is kept as long as needed for the business relationship.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or ask us to stop. Email [email protected] and we will act on it. Because the measurement data is pseudonymous by design, we may need you to identify the specific records, and in some cases we will not be able to link any to you at all, which is the point of building it that way.

Questions about any of this? Email [email protected]. If something here is unclear or you think we have it wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Questions

Common questions

Do you use Google Analytics?

No. The measurement on this site is built and hosted by us. No data leaves our infrastructure and nothing is shared with an advertising network.

Do you sell or share any of this data?

No. It is never sold, rented, shared, or used for advertising, and there is no third-party tag on any page that could collect it independently.

How do I opt out?

Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser and the script stops before collecting anything. Blocking cookies for this domain or using any content blocker also works.

Next step

Thirty minutes, and you will know where you stand.

No pitch deck. We look at what you are running, tell you what we would do first, and you decide whether that is worth paying for.
